Our Work

Empower Girls Change The World

Our strategy is to engage young girls to develop life skills outside of school, with hopes of preventing them from disruptive behaviors after school by focusing on activities that lead to positive outcomes. Through our program, the girls are exposed to sports and fitness activities like volleyball and cycling. In addition, Rae’s Hope provides a rich curriculum of life skills: social skills, nutrition and healthy living, financial literacy, technology, along with community service activities.

Through practices, classroom activities, league play, workshops, field trips, and mentoring, Rae’s Hope encourages youths to create and maintain healthy lifestyles, improve themselves, and build positive relationships. The girls build their self-esteem through persistence in the face of setbacks, which lead to achievements in tackling real-world standards. Along the way, they learn teamwork and earn a sense of belonging to a positive social community.
