Rae’s Hope

Girls In Sports

🏐 Rae’s Hope Volleyball Programs Overview

Rae’s Hope volleyball programs kick off every Tuesday evening at the Juanita Craft Recreation Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., offering girls a safe and empowering space to build athletic skills, teamwork, and confidence.

The program expands across additional Dallas ISD and community locations on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, creating consistent opportunities for youth engagement throughout the week.

School-Based Clinics During PE Hours

We partner with Dallas ISD elementary schools to deliver trauma-informed volleyball clinics during students’ physical education classes. These clinics focus on movement, skill development, and character building. At each school, Rae’s Hope provides:

  • Age-appropriate volleyball drills and warm-ups
  • Partner and group activities that foster teamwork and inclusion
  • Reflection questions that connect physical effort to emotional growth
  • Attendance tracking and behavior highlights to support student progress
  • Staff feedback loops to continuously improve clinic flow and impact

  • Hosting after-school and weekend volleyball sessions at recreation centers and churches
  • Coordinating volunteer visits and teacher appreciation days to strengthen school relationships
  • Integrating fitness calendars and trauma-informed movement routines at partner sites
  • Providing printable facilitator guides, drill cards, and flow charts to ensure consistency and clarity a
  • Across all locations
